We’re a team of Brazilian designers and developers, but you will notice most of our communication is in English. Here’s why.
We believe the greatest people and opportunities are spread around the world, not only in our city.
Before founding Startaê in 2012, some of us had been working remotely for 4 years for a company based in Salt Lake City. Their team had people from United States, Brazil, Italy, Croatia, Russia and Australia working together with the craziest timezones. Everyone was doing beautiful work to awesome clients. We were doing remote work even before Dropbox or Google Hangouts were around - some of the tools remote workers consider crucial to execute their work nowadays.
After all these years, we’ve mastered the art of remote work. When we decided to found Startaê, we knew from day one we would work with great people and companies regardless of their location. We wanted to work with people committed to making a dent in the universe. Some of these people happen to be in Brazil, but a lot of them don’t. Since then, we’ve been partnering with startups and tech companies from all corners of the world.
When we decided to found Startaê, we knew from day one we would work with great people and companies regardless of their location.
Some people ask us if we’ve given up on Brazil and we repeatedly answer: ‘Not at all!’. Most of our digital communication happens in English, but we are always supporting our local community by hosting events, giving talks, mentoring entrepreneurs and creating digital products that impact their lives. We love our country and we know we can represent well our creativity and innovation not only in Brazil, but in many other places. We hope you do the same.
Vamos nessa? :)
